These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the AKORA Collective website, services, programs, and communications. By accessing or engaging with AKORA Collective, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About AKORA Collective
AKORA Collective provides coaching and development services, which may include:
- Personal training and semi-private group training
- Hybrid coaching and online coaching
- Performance and strength & conditioning services
- Mentorship programs (schools, youth, men's circles)
- Educational content, events, workshops, and consultations
Our services support wellbeing and development, but do not replace medical, psychological, or legal advice.
2. Participation & Eligibility
By engaging with our services, you confirm that:
- You are over 18, or have parental/guardian consent where relevant
- You are fit to participate and have disclosed any relevant conditions
- You will follow safety instructions and guidance provided
We may refuse or discontinue services if participation creates risk to yourself or others.
3. Health & Activity Disclaimer
Training, performance work, and physical activity carry inherent risks.
You acknowledge that:
- Participation is voluntary
- You are responsible for communicating concerns and listening to your body
- AKORA Collective is not liable for injury or harm resulting from failure to follow guidance or disclose relevant information
You should consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise program.
4. Bookings, Payments & Commitments
- Service fees and inclusions are outlined at the time of booking/consultation
- Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule
- Missed sessions or late cancellations may be forfeited unless otherwise stated
- Refunds are not provided for change of mind, unless required under Australian Consumer Law
5. Online Coaching & Digital Delivery
For online coaching and digital services:
- Access is delivered via platforms such as Trainerize and Zoom
- You are responsible for maintaining the technology and internet needed
- Programs are personalised, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed
6. Mentorship & Community Programs
Mentorship, circles, and community programs:
- Are non-clinical and non-therapeutic
- Do not replace counselling, therapy, or mental health treatment
- Are designed for reflection, education, connection, and personal responsibility
Participants must uphold group agreements and respectful conduct.
7. Code of Conduct
You agree to:
- Treat others with respect and dignity
- Maintain confidentiality in group-based environments
- Avoid unsafe, disruptive, or harmful behaviour
- Follow staff instructions and program guidelines
We may remove participants who breach these standards.
8. Intellectual Property
All programs, content, branding, and methodologies remain the property of AKORA Collective and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Liability is limited as required under Australian Consumer Law
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions. Continued use of our services means you accept updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
