Who We Work With

Individuals Returning to Training

People who have trained before but struggled with consistency, injury, or time constraints, and want a structured approach that supports long-term health rather than short-term intensity.

Professionals Seeking Strength & Balance

Individuals balancing work, family, and life demands who want to build strength, improve energy, and train in an environment that reduces stress rather than adds to it.

Athletes & Performance-Focused Individuals

Football athletes and individuals wanting to improve performance, reduce injury risk, and build strength that transfers into sport and everyday movement.

Whether you are beginning again or building toward performance, training starts with understanding where you are first.

Your First Visit

Starting somewhere new can feel uncertain. Our goal is to make your first experience simple, comfortable, and clear.

Your first visit begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand your goals, training history, and any injuries or concerns before beginning.

Sessions focus on movement quality, understanding your current capacity, and building confidence rather than pushing intensity.

There is no pressure to perform — only an opportunity to begin.

Training at AK Fitness Studio is designed to support long-term progress, helping you build strength in a way that fits your life.

Mentorship

Mentorship programs for men, youth, and schools — focused on emotional regulation, leadership, resilience, and connection.

Delivered through AKORA Mentorship and the Compassionate Hearts Circle.

Includes: School Programs · Youth Mentoring · Men's Circles

Build character. Build leaders. Build community.

AKORA Mentorship supports emotional regulation, leadership development, and resilience — for youth, schools, and men.

This work addresses what traditional performance and education systems often miss: the inner capacity to self-regulate, communicate honestly, and take responsibility for one's actions.

Programs are grounded, non-clinical, and experiential — integrating movement, reflection, and conversation in safe, structured environments.

Programs include:

  • School-based leadership and wellbeing programs
  • Youth mentoring through sport and group work
  • Men's circles through Compassionate Hearts

AKORA Mentorship is not about fixing people. It's about creating space for growth, accountability, and connection — so individuals can show up more fully in their lives and communities.

Personal training is fully individualised coaching tailored specifically to your goals, training history, and lifestyle.

Our Philosophy

We believe strength should support life — not consume it.

In a culture that rewards speed, intensity, and constant output, we choose a different path. One built on care, consistency, and respect for the human nervous system.

We reject hustle culture and quick fixes, not because effort doesn't matter, but because effort without safety eventually breaks people.

At AKORA Collective, we prioritise:

  • Longevity over intensity
  • Presence over pressure
  • Character over performance
  • Structure over chaos

We believe performance should be grounded in care, not fear.
That growth should be sustainable, not extractive.
And that real progress is built through small, deliberate actions repeated over time.

Our work — across health, performance, and mentorship — is guided by this belief.

We don't train people to burn out.
We support them to build lives they can carry.

About AKORA

About AKORA Collective

AKORA Collective is a human development ecosystem founded by Amadu Koroma.

Our work integrates health, performance, and mentorship to support people through different stages of life — from personal training and sport, to leadership development, reflection, and community connection.

We believe people don't need more motivation. They need structure, safety, and support.

AKORA exists in response to a culture that often prioritises speed, output, and constant optimisation, while neglecting the foundations that allow people to sustain their lives well.

We believe lasting growth doesn't come from more pressure or motivation. It comes from structure, safety, and support.

Across everything we do, the intention is the same: to help people build the internal and external capacity to carry their lives — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Whether someone enters through training, performance, or mentorship, they are met with the same philosophy: progress that is steady, grounded, and human.

We reject quick fixes, burnout-driven systems, and performative progress. Instead, we focus on building self-trust, consistency, and responsibility through small, deliberate actions over time.

This philosophy allows people to grow without losing themselves in the process.

Founder — Amadu Koroma

Amadu Koroma is a coach, mentor, and facilitator whose work blends strength training, performance systems, and human development.

A former semi-professional footballer and strength & conditioning coach, Amadu has worked across elite sport environments, youth development pathways, schools, and community programs.

What distinguishes Amadu's approach is not just technical knowledge, but the way he holds space.

His coaching integrates:

  • Evidence-based training principles
  • Emotional awareness and regulation
  • Character development and leadership
  • Respect for individual pace and context

Born in Sierra Leone and raised in Australia after arriving as a child refugee, Amadu's lived experience of displacement, resilience, and identity has shaped a deeply grounded and compassionate leadership style.

He understands that people don't just need programs — they need to feel seen, supported, and capable of change.

Each session, conversation, and program is treated as an opportunity to build self-trust, not dependency.

This mission flows through every pillar of AKORA Collective — shaping how people train, perform, lead, and live.
